Professor Dr. P. Hariharan, Dean and Warden, inaugurated the walkway connecting three ladies hostels with the Mega Mess and other ladies blocks on the east side on 19.12.2025, and also inaugurated the new provisional stores and reprographic facility at the Student Amenities Centre building, as well as the Network Facilitation Centre at the Mullai Ladies Hostel block.



  • Hostel fees for four final-year students, amounting to Rs. 1,17,971/-, were sponsored by COSS (Class of Seventy Six – 1976 batch) and handed over by the Dean, CEG, in the presence of the President, COSS Society, Er. V. Ravindran, on 17.12.2025.



  • Mr. Madhan Karky (CSE, 2001 batch) and Mrs. Nandhini Karky (ECE, 2003 batch) visited the CEG Dean, Dr. P. Hariharan, on 09.12.2025 to submit their proposal for establishing the Thambaa Tamil Labs for CEG students.

  • The TVS Cheema Scholarship Foundation, established by CEG alumnus Mr. Venu Srinivasan, extended interest-free education loans to CEG students at an event held on 24.10.2025 in the presence of the Dean, hostel officials, and foundation representatives.



  • Er.S.B.P.Pattabhi Rama Rao (CEG 1994 Mech.) (MD, Gourmet Popcornica) and Er.Vanitha Venugopal (CEG 1994 Mech.) (CEO, iTNT) met the Dean to discuss CSR initiatives and Alumni support for CEG upliftment



  • Er. B. Anbuchelvan, CEG 1992 Mining, Executive Director (Renewable Energy), NLC India Limited, Visited Dean CEG to Discuss Collaboration on Green Initiatives



  • Dr. Vasanthi Babu, Student Counsellor, addressed the first-year undergraduate and postgraduate hostel students (both girls and boys) at Vivek Auditorium on September 2, 2025.
